Sand between your toes, salt in the air, and a belly full of precious twins. That’s pretty much how the Chin’s rolled up to this one! As a Hawkesbury based family photographer, getting out to Curl Curl beach for this maternity/family session was truely gorgeous and definitely reflected their family lifestyle.
Their daughter Emmi had the beach figured out before I even got my camera up – off and running, completely unbothered, the only way kids should be at the beach. Andrea and Peter just watched her go, that quiet smile between two people who already know their world is about get a whole lot louder.
This sunrise session was super laid back and ultimately led by Emmi who loved jumping on the rocks and playing in the rock pools. The last stretch of the shoot is always my favourite, everyone’s forgotten about the camera and it just feels like an ordinary beach day. Except, it isn’t really. There’s almost two new people here, and this will be the last time it’s just the 3 of them with their toes in the sand. This pregnancy was so special and wished for, so I am so grateful I got to capture this perfect moment for Andrea and Peter.
