Let's be real, the idea of awkwardly standing in front of a camera for an hour can seem daunting right? We all get nervous before a shoot, but just know you don't have anything to fear. I'm as chill as can be when it comes to shoots and want you to feel the same way. My job isn't just taking pretty pictures, but it's about making sure you feel relaxed, calm, confident and excited for your session together. GUARANTEE you'll finish wondering what you were even scared about.

I'll do my best to get to know you before our session. Be specific and let your heart out in your pre-shoot questionnaire.
When you arrive for your shoot, don't feel stressed like we have to jump into shooting straight away. I never rush into sessions (unless we absolutely have to) and like to take my time to have a chat and see how you're feeling. I know it's often stress and chaos getting everyone in the family ready for the shoot, so take a moment to just breathe and let go.
You'll never have to worry about knowing "what to do". 'l will guide you through the whole session. There might be times I will encourage you take the lead if I can see you're in the flow, but otherwise I'll gently lead you. I hate to "over-pose" so subtle cues are always my go to.
Know that you never have to do anything in the shoot you don't want to do. This is your session so make it just that! My job is to empower and encourage you in whatever way that is for you. On the other hand, if there is something you really want to try, let's do it!
