From bush to beach – capturing an adventure.

Storyteller

There is a beautiful, restless energy that comes with a house full of boys. As a Hawkesbury family photographer, my favourite stories aren’t found in a studio, but in the transition from the quiet of the bush to the pulse of the city, and finally, the salt air of the coast.

It’s a grounding start to any storyteller session, capturing that raw curiosity of three boys exploring their surroundings before trading the quiet bush for the hum of the surrounding neighbourhood.

The day reached its natural conclusion at the beach. Shoes were abandoned, salt spray hung in the air, and the boys hit the sand with a final burst of magic.

Seeing a mother surrounded by her three sons against the vastness of the horizon is exactly why I do this. It wasn’t a “perfect” photoshoot – it was a real, documented adventure.
